I have been behind on my blog for a few months. Work has been crazy busy. I plan to catch up and keep new content going.
A few weeks ago it was 80+ degree in Seattle so I took the kids to a nice lake for some swimming. The water was freezing cold, but they didn't mind too too much.

I had the privilege of shooting a fashion event for a friend, Scotty Provo, and his new fashion line, ScottiMarie. It was a fun time and the clothes looked great. Everyone who attended had a great time.

I had the opportunity to take photos at the Seattle Central Library today with the Microsoft meetup group. There was a pretty good turn out. The only downside was tripods were not allow in the library (stupid "liability" rules). It was my first time in the library and it was awesome. Between all the books, architecture, and colors it was a cool experience.
I didn't want to wait for the bus home so I decided to walk. It was only three miles. On my route was the Space Needle, EMP, Kerry Park, and a variety of nice neighborhoods. I managed to snap a few photos on the way home as well.
I walked through the Occupy Wall street protests yesterday. It was nice to see a bunch of people peacefully getting together in the cold and not having cops beat the shit out of them like in New York and other parts of the world. Hopefully everything will stay peaceful and some changes will come from the protests, mainly around corruption of government.
The Seattle Fashion Photography Meetup group had a shoot a few nights ago. It was fun to work with different studio lights and shoot a lot of different poses. Here are a few of my photos.
It was such a nice day on Sunday I decided to join the tourists and go to the Ballard Locks in Seattle. It was very busy, on the water and walkways. They were filling up the locks with boats, some small, a lot of them really big. I wish I was in one of them. Here are a few of the photos I took.
I just hope this nice weather will last. Seattle summer this year has sucked!
