Seafair Saturday on the water is the best way to experience everything that is going on in Seattle in the summer. Lots of boats, sun, people watching, and loads of entertainment.
Here are a variety of pictures to show the entertainment.
It was very cold in Seattle for the Superbowl parade. After an hour delay (traffic sucked), we saw the winner team come down 4th ave. It was cool to see the amount of support for the team.
I will be showing and selling my work at the upcoming RAW TRANSLATIONS show in Seattle on September 28 @ 6pm. Come check it out.
There will be a lot of other artists ranging from photographers, fashion designers, makeup artists, and musical talent.
Get a discounted ticket for only $10 before the show and help support the artists, aka me:)
Start you Saturday night here, have a few drinks, then off to enjoy the rest of your evening partying it up.
Check out my profile.
Looking forward to seeing you at the event!
There was a pretty nice show on the north end of lake Washington this year. Hosted by the city of Kenmore.
A week ago I attended the Fremont Solstice Parade. I missed the beginning with all the bikers, but still got a lot of shots of the parade.
Many more photos are on my gallery site.
One of the most colorful and fun runs I have attended, Color Vibe Seattle 2013 was a 5k run at Bellevue College. If was a lot of fun to walk around and photograph everyone getting their color on.
Here are some of the photos from the day. A full gallery is located on my gallery site:
I had the privilege of shooting a fashion event for a friend, Scotty Provo, and his new fashion line, ScottiMarie. It was a fun time and the clothes looked great. Everyone who attended had a great time.
For more info about ScottMarie, go to scottimarie.com.
The show started with some belly dancing from Rebecca.
Followed by the line of beautiful models and ScottiMarie fashions.
Many thanks to Scotty Provo and friends for setting up the event.
I had the opportunity to take photos at the Seattle Central Library today with the Microsoft meetup group. There was a pretty good turn out. The only downside was tripods were not allow in the library (stupid "liability" rules). It was my first time in the library and it was awesome. Between all the books, architecture, and colors it was a cool experience.
I didn't want to wait for the bus home so I decided to walk. It was only three miles. On my route was the Space Needle, EMP, Kerry Park, and a variety of nice neighborhoods. I managed to snap a few photos on the way home as well.
I walked through the Occupy Wall street protests yesterday. It was nice to see a bunch of people peacefully getting together in the cold and not having cops beat the shit out of them like in New York and other parts of the world. Hopefully everything will stay peaceful and some changes will come from the protests, mainly around corruption of government.
I walked with several others in the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo walk through Pike Place Market last Saturday. It was fun to see what everyone was shooting and meet new local photographers. Beer after the walk was a nice way to end the day. I'm just glad I didn't have to drive back to Portland that night like some of the photographers there.
